The NBD: Could you please introduce yourself?

TT: My name is Timothy Oscar Unachukwu (Trainer Tim), an ISSA-certified fitness trainer and CEO, Triple T fitness center Asaba. I am a fitness consultant and entrepreneur. I am the host of the Delta fitness festival, Cross fit challenge, Sweat party, Run 4 health and many more.

The NBD: How long have you been into fitness?

TT: Professionally, for about 9 years in Nigeria.

The NBD: You seem to have a good set up here. Could you tell us more about it?

TT: Yes! The Triple T fitness center is not your regular Nigerian fitness hotspot; we are a raw facility known for our unique training programs, unusual ambience and professionalism.

The NBD: Can you tell us about your plans to help grow the physical culture space further in Delta?

TT: I would love to mount a sensitization campaign through my fitness events, soliciting partnerships and support from both the state government and private sector.

The NBD: Do you think the government and indeed Nigerians can do more in terms of acknowledging the importance of fitness and physical culture in general?

TT: Obviously, the fitness community is growing but the awareness of fitness is still at its lowest level. It's high time the Government as well as the private sector take a serious look in the direction of fitness. Save for a few passionate individuals like myself who put their lives on line just to promote fitness, the physical culture industry in this country is seriously underrated.

The NBD: How can any interested party get in touch with you?

TT: We are available on Facebook, Instagram as well as TikTok.

The NBD: Thank you for your time.
