Hassan Mohammed Sambo
Hassan Mohammed Sambo a.k.a. "Hassino", is a weightlifter and bodybuilder. Originally from Kebbi State, North-West Nigeria, he was however domiciled with his nuclear family in the small agrarian town of Tilden Fulani in Bauchi State, North-East Nigeria. From here he undertook a daily commute to the nearby city of Jos, where he worked in the employ of the Plateau State Sports Commission.
Hassino began to engage in the sport of bodybuilding in the year 2010, before adding weightlifting in the year 2015. He was trained by his father, who himself was a former weightlifting national champion. He entered his first ever bodybuilding championship-Mr Flex Nigeria-in 2015, winning a bronze medal in the middleweight division, while he made his competitive weightlifting debut at the 2018 edition of Nigeria's National Sports Festival, winning a gold in the 85kg weight class.
Hassino moved to Oman in 2022, where he now works as a fitness trainer at the Iron first gym in Muscat.
