In his words: ‘‘My fitness journey began in 2018 when I got admission into the University of Maiduguri to study Health Education. I wanted to transform my physique and was determined to work towards that, even though I was laughed at. My hard work began to pay off and people have begun to compliment me. Going forward, I would like to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I would also like to become a gym owner in the future so I can introduce others to the sport.’’
